Hello Magnolia Families, welcome to our last blog of the year!

It’s hard for us to believe that we’ve made it all the way to June already. It’s been a great year getting to know all of you, and learning and playing alongside the children. Here in this last blog we will highlight some special moments from our last few weeks in Magnolia. 

First, we’d like to share a poem we wrote for the children. Knowing that some will return, go to Mariposa, or tk/k and beyond, we wanted to share a message that we hope resonates with everyone 🙂

Magnolia End of the Year Celebration and Beautiful Brown Showcase

We had a great time celebrating our learning from this year. A highlight was enjoying the self portrait project the children have been working on all month! Can you figure out who is who?

Here are the names that the children came up with for their skin tones. Each child worked one on one with a teacher to mix their very own skin tone for their portrait!
