Kindness Week and a Birthday!

Friendly Reminders:

Spring break: 04/01 to 04/05
Cinco de Mayo celebration: May 03 at 11:00am. Parents are invited to attend.
End of the year celebration: June 06 at 9:30am to 10:30am (Potluck)
Griselda is traveling to Mexico to take care of her mom, who recently suffered an injury. She leaves tomorrow, April 30, and returns to school on April 15. Catherine will be in Live Oak to cover Griselda.

Kindness week

Each day we added paper strips loaded with kind deeds, and the children loved seeing our chain growing everyday. They also exchanged kindness cards with each other and crafted kindness flags.

Spring sing

Our students enjoyed dancing during the Spring Sing.

Flower arrangements

We got so many flowers! Jill, Arlo’s mom, shared her florist skills and helped the children make six flower arrangements to deliver to all the classrooms and the office. She also coordinated the clean up after all the deliveries.

Being kind with our plant

Our biggest plant needed new soil and some trimming. The children helped with digging, adding fresh soil, re-potting, and watering the plant. They also cleaned the area they used to do the gardening. The plant looks so happy now!
