Rainy Day Fun
We had so much fun in our rain gear! We splashed and sloshed, poured and dumped, climbed and jumped, laughed and exclaimed gleefully. We also negotiated risk and reward, observed how the water and rain moved in different ways, checked in with friends that were in “splash zones,” practiced putting on and taking off our rain gear and waiting patiently while everyone did so and so much more!
VIP Day
We had so much fun hosting our VIPs the Thursday before Fall break. Thank you to all who visited for coming and for being VIPs not just to their individual Caterpillar friend, but to all the Caterpillar friends!

Artist Visit: Jesus Sosa Calvo
Alebrije artist Jesús Sosa Calvo visited the ECC from Oaxaca, MX. He demonstrated how he uses may tools, such as a machete and knives, to carve alebrijes out of wood. We got to look at finished colorful alebrijes as well as ones that were in progress. We saw so many different animals: cats, dogs, an owl, a whale, an alligator.
