Dear Blackberry Parenting Adults,
Today we had the most beautiful morning meeting. Your children showed so much love and kindness to each other. They filled each others bucket, they gave compliments, and celebrated each others wins. It was really an indicator of how everything we do matters.
This week we really honed in on what it means to be a community member. We hosted are first birthday circle and it was so beautiful to celebrate each other. Before we were able to have our birthday circle we practiced the differences between questions and comments so that we could make sure we were asking only questions. We also practiced making quiet connections so that we could enjoy our birthday circle.
This week we began using tally marks to analyze data and as a different way to interpret numbers. We continueour work with our calendar so that we can focus on recognizing patterns and seeing the different ways numbers can be represented with various number tools.
This week we began our phonics work with the glued sounds of -ung, -ong, -ing, -ang.
The BTSN slide deck should be linked to this blog. If you cannot access it please let me know and I will do my best to help.
