Hello Blackberry Families,

We’ve had a very eventful week to start off November! Monday we had the Recycled Runway, Tuesday our Halloween Parade and Party, and Wednesday we had our Dia De Los Muertos Event. Thank you all that helped in any way, shape, or form for making all these events possible! We appreciate you all!

We have done many activities such as solving math problems using the number rack, we were introduced to 4 new vocabulary words, began practicing our r blends, and learned new things about Dia de los Muertos as well as the Baile Aztec (Aztec Dancing). In Spanish, students were able to try Pan de Muerto (the students really enjoyed this!) .We have taken a closer look at the pumpkins, as they slowly decompose! We talked about how pumpkins are a commodity and what they are. In Art class, students learned how to make wire springs for arms, legs, and neck for a new way to create a Skeleton.
