Back to School night is Thursday, from 6 to 8. We are looking forward to seeing everyone, giving you a glimpse of the year ahead, both the what and the how. Much of what we will discuss will be available to you throughout the year on the blog in the Curriculum category. This week look forward to more electricity and magnetism, reading response journals, lots of writing in the writers notebook, and some US geography.

Homework:

Math: 4th graders have a fractions worksheet; fifth graders do pages 1-5 in Show Me 1/2

Writing: bring in a “story object” tomorrow to write about. Shouldn’t be bigger than a breadbox, and you’ll bring it home tomorrow. Nothing too precious please.
