So much occurs in any given school day–it’s kind of unbelievable sometimes when I look back and reflect. Today: the final MAP test on mathematics, typing practice, a lesson on how to end a piece of writing effectively, work toward publishing the first Chanterelle literary magazine, a science activity on magnets that included hands-on and written elements, and time to work on the state wall maps. Student council reps even met with administrators at lunch to present a rubric for what free seating at lunch will look like. I have helped facilitate this process, and it has been quite impressive to watch students create a plan so every feels included and stays safe at lunch. With no further ado, some photos:
