We have been having some stellar conversations about intergalactic planetary bodies the last few days–yesterday the moon, today the sun. The morning was mostly MAP testing, but we had the chance to dive into nuclear fusion this afternoon, a profoundly interesting topic. Check out this great NOVA short to get the gist: http://www.pbslearningmedia.org/resource/ess05.sci.ess.eiu.fusion/the-elements-forged-in-stars/.

Students have little homework tonight: just cursive or typing practice and SSR + a connection on their planners.
