We took a look at a slide show Friends of Strawberry Creek Park put together to ask the city to take better care of it. We used this thinking routine to organize our thoughts.

Anatomy is the order of the day. This week is a study of the respiratory system. Students will learn how oxygen enters the bloodstreams, travels around the body, etc.

Homework:

Read: 20 minutes and complete summary on weekly planner

Write: 20 minutes of Wordly Wise

Calculate: 4th graders do units of length homework; 5th graders do pages 3 and 4 in your math packet, finish survey graph from today and write a paragraph about how this data might be useful
