Welcome back to school and work, and we hope you had fantastically relaxing holidays. Julia had a great time in both Santa Cruz and Lak Tahoe, and Mike took some relaxing breaths at a meditation retreat at Esalen before heading down to San Diego for some time with family.

January is Fort Ross Month! Many of you are coming in as officers of the Russian American Company, and please refer to my email from December if you are wondering about the calendar. We will see the clerks tomorrow and the artisans on Wednesday. We will head to Muir Beach for an ecosystem restoration project next Thursday, and I will be sending out an email this evening to solicit parent drivers. Please join us!
