Math:
- 4th graders have two options on circles
- 5th graders have planet research and writing (handout from class today)
Typing or Quizlet: 20 minutes (Quizlet is best, because you can practice your typing at the same time as you practice your chemistry terms)
Reading: 20+ minutes
Tuesday
Math:
- 4th graders have pages 1-3
- 5th graders should do odds or evens (their choice) on the back of the worksheet we did in class today. Remember, circumferences = pi x diameter. Area = pi x radius squared
Science: It’s Elemental, My Dear. Use a protractor to figure out exactly how big the slices of pie should be for the different elements.
Reading: 20 + minutes and a response in your online reader’s notebook
Wednesday
Math:
- 4th grade: pgs. 4,5,6
- 5th grade: Traveling Networks problem
Science: State a claim, state your evidence, and state your reasoning about what is in the mystery powder. This should take about one page in your science notebook.

Thursday
Math:
- 4th graders do pages 7 and 8
- 5th graders do 2-sided similar polygons worksheet
Science: Study vocabulary words for tomorrow’s quiz
