“Cerritoberry” meeting, in which the whole fourth and fifth grade gets together to play games, connect, and have fun each Friday.

“Cerrito Presents” is an opportunity for students to share something with the class each Friday. Some students acts, others perform music, some show pictures from a favorite trip or their favorite artwork. it’s an opportunity to be in the spotlight! Here’s Julia sharing her natural dyeing.

Each week ends with a ribbon cutting ceremony, in which each student writes a favorite moment on learned piece of knowledge on a ribbon. We collect the ribbons and make beautiful strings of ribbon to decorate the classroom.
