Hi all,

Sorry for the late Valentine scoop. Not much to tell: students who are interested in bringing cards for their classmates are welcome to do so. Little treats are welcome; I won’t be a scrooge about little candy hearts or cookies, just use your sagely parental discretion.

 

As far as curriculum goes for the week, ask your child how their research paper is going. We are scaffolding them very carefully–lots of support, minimal pressure. Monday they write the introduction for homework.

Writing: You should be approaching a complete rough draft of your research paper. Put 20 minutes into it tonight, in any case.

Spelling: Quizlet, as always, quiz tomorrow.

Reading: keep up with your partner reading book
