Happy Memorial Day to all. I hope you enjoyed a long weekend with your family. I spent Saturday in bed with the stomach bug that sent three students home today. I found it to be a 2 to 3-day affair, the middle day quite unpleasant.  May you and your children be healthy this week!

The Walkathon is on Thursday, so please remember TBS t-shirts (either one of the white ones we screen-printed last week or a Black Lives Matter shirt), comfortable walking shoes, a bag lunch, and a water bottle.

Strawberry is planning a bake sale on Fourth Street in Berkeley on Saturday morning from 10 to 12 to support local refugees. Cerrito will be dying some hand towels with indigo to contribute to their stock. Let me know if you’d like to help dye on Friday or participate in the sale on Saturday. We will buy BART tickets and grocery gift cards with the proceeds to give directly to refugee families.
