Angel Island on Friday! We board the ferry at 10:10 am, so we should leave TBS as close to 8:30 as we can that morning to allow for parking time, etc. We board the return ferry at 2:05, so expect us back later than usual on Friday, probably at 4.

Today (Monday) we walked the Strawberry Creek watershed down to Aquatic Park, cleaning up trash and storm drains along the way. We picked up a ton of refuse, then celebrated our efforts with a vigorous recess at the awesome playground down there. We also did a bunch of science in the afternoon, examining the living system of our new worm bin, checking out our new painted lady butterfly larvae, and measuring the wheat we planted last week. Some sprouted in the dark, some in the light. Can you tell which is which from the photos?
