Cerrito’s trip to the Museum of the African Diaspora last Thursday was wonderful. After a rainy start, the skies parted for a trip that was equal parts outdoors and in. The art in the museum was accessible for our students, and the docents were great with children. We even stumbled across the MLK Jr. waterfall memorial, a serendipitous moment that called for a class photo. See below for an album. A few are missing from the class pic, but Sam took another that we will be sure to post that includes everyone! Thank you, as always, to our chaperones…and a special shout out for the hot drinks.
