Performance Tomorrow!

Bittersweet Gifts in Oregon is on Tuesday, June 4th, at 6 pm. There will be pizza for hungry actors at 5:15 in Cerrito Creek. Curtain call is 5:45. Show is at 6. Parents, siblings, other family members, and special friends are all invited. We will be in the Depot. Graduation and stepping up ceremony follows the show.

Walkathon

The Walkathon was longer and stronger than ever before, with deeper ties to the local political landscape surrounding this year’s focal topic: homelessness. Community advocates and politicians spoke at a downtown rally, and random passersby also had some words for us – mostly encouraging ones. Homelessness is a complicated issue with as many narratives surrounding it as there are people experiencing it. Kudos to Kate Klaire and the whole Ashoka team for putting it together!

Rad, rad women

Student papers and presentations on rad American women were a resounding success last week. The gallery below shows some of the students presenting to the class. They were nervous, but wow, they really pulled it off.
