The first day’s nervous anticipation quickly gave way to joyful excitement as we enumerated the routines, dabbled in academic work, and broke the ice with our new community members. Ask your child about the mystery tubes they had to explain through diagrams, conversations, and model building.

Finish the rough draft of your writing piece. It should be short (2 or 3 pages, double-spaced), a small moment, and handwritten on lined notebook paper.

Both 4th and 5th graders have a (short) math writing assignment about their math lives thus far.
