Gracias Live Oak Families!!!

Yes, thank you so much for a great school year. It has been a pleasure to have such a wonderful community. We felt your support in all the Live Oak events, including the times you came to our classroom to volunteer and spend time with our class sharing projects and talents.

We know the children love science and cooking, so we saved a few projects for the last week of school. They really enjoyed all of them; density, reactions between milk, soap, and food coloring, float and sink, the popular volcano, the heart pump, the science table, and one of their favorites; gooey.

The cooking project was molletes, a Mexican snack eaten for breakfast or dinner in Mexico. The children loved it! The cooks were Guy, Paige, Marshall, and Whit.

Happy Birthday to Leo!

We celebrated our last birthday. Leo is turning three years old on June 30th.

Music and Dance

Also, we were very lucky to have Grandpa Clyde one more time! Grandpa Clyde is a musician with grandchildren in Cedar classroom. He has been volunteering in all the classrooms sharing his music and singing throughout the school year. Our class loves him! Take a peek of his music circle

For the very last day we gave the children more piñata time with goodies, and after lunch we had popsicles from Ziggy’s family!

Have a great Summer!!!

Griselda, Niki and Catherine.
