We really enjoyed getting to know and chatting with each family during Parent/Teacher conferences, and we enjoyed all the food and tasty treats you all brought for the teachers. Thank you!

Pumpkin carving was so fun! Children and parents had a great time. After this fun activity, a group of students helped to separate the pumpkin seeds from the pulp for Katt who made a delicious snack which we enjoyed very much.

Thank you Jill and Erika for putting together this event, and many thanks to all the volunteers who helped the children carve their pumpkins.

The many pumpkins in our classroom inspired the children to do a pumpkin art project using oil pastel and watercolors. These weeks, the art shelf provided a variety of projects such as ghost and pumpkin hole-punching works, jack-o’- lanterns, Halloween kites, pumpkins puppets, prints, and the most popular science project: volcano pumpkin!

“Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Fence” is a song that the children role-play, they loved it and asked to act it out everyday! We also made pumpkin puppets inspired by the song. It was great seeing and hearing the children break out into the song on their own with their puppets.
