Hello Magnolia Families,

Here’s a glimpse at our week back together after Spring Break. We’ve revealed our new dramatic play space to be… (drumroll please….) a ZOO! Over the next few weeks we’ll be using the corner to “feed animals”, pretend to be zookeepers, and learn all about animals and the environments they live in to grow and thrive.

Spring Sing

Music teacher Chrissy led us in a fantastic Spring Sing on Wednesday! We sang songs about friendship and even learned a dance together. Here are some photos from the event and a short video.

Art with Julianne

We welcomed Julianne on Wednesday after our Spring Sing and she invited the children to join her outside beneath the Live Oak tree. She shared that this special tree has been living here long before our school was built. Julianne brainstormed what gifts the tree gives us: shade, oxygen, paper, shadows… Then the children were invited to use chalk pastels to draw the magnificent Live Oak tree. Click here to read more about Julianne’s visit!

Around Magnolia

Letters q and r (ququ the quail and rusty the rooster!), “Feeding” wild animals, music with grandpa clyde, outside play, Family visits, raisin rice (Kishmish Polo), rainbows and more!
