Love Letters

The past few weeks the children have had several opportunities to write letters to their peers. There is a special work on the shelf and Julianne brought in supplies for making valentine’s for friends and families. We took a quick trip to the mailbox around the corner to mail love notes to parents last week. The children were so excited and hoping they would arrive over the weekend. There was discussion and investigation about the postal service and how the mail system works.

Valentine’s Day Fun

Today was filled with love and friendship! We started the day off delivering valentines to each others’ decorative bags. Then, we spent the morning creating love tree collages for Art and baking thumbprint jam cookies. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a delicious tea party with mint tea and raspberry jam cookies and violin music playing in the background. It was a special time together!
