Hello Families,
We hope that the extra hour has helped ease your adjustment to the time change and helped in your recovery from our very full Halloween week.

We had a Dia de los Muertos procession with all grades K-8 showcasing different aspects of the holiday. Younger children had skull masks, Temescalians made handheld Catrina skeletons, 4th/5th graders made tissue paper marigolds, and the middle schooler created larger Catrina skeletons and art work on larger cards.

We celebrated a Temescalian’s birthday. It’s nice to see community members as they have grown over the years and learn more about them as younger people! We took time to create a chain of appreciations for him!

We wanted to share that a new student will be joining us on Monday, November 7. She recently joined us to visit for the day and it coincided with our special educator, Keith Gutierrez’s visit. Keep an eye on the school directory as it will be updated soon to reflect the new student’s contact information, and please reach out and welcome this new student to our Temescal Creek classroom and greater TBS community!

Warmly,
Lisa
